Advanced Access & User Roles — Control, Flexibility, and Collaboration

Your Music Tools is designed to grow with your music career — whether you're managing one band or several, collaborating with crew, or working alongside multiple artists. The platform offers a powerful access control system that keeps everything secure, streamlined, and under your control.

Add Band Members, Crew, and More

As a band owner, you can add members, crew, managers, or collaborators to your band’s workspace. By entering their email addresses, you can assign specific roles and permissions to each person — giving them the access they need without compromising control.

For each member, you can choose whether they can:

  • View certain modules (e.g. tour dates, setlists, finances)

  • Edit content within a module (e.g. update the songbook, adjust schedules)

  • Manage entire sections (e.g. invite new members, manage merchandise, or edit riders)

This granular permission system allows you to delegate tasks while keeping sensitive info in the right hands.

Band Membership Is Free

When someone is invited to a band with their email address, they automatically become a band member when they log in — completely free of charge. There's no need for them to create a subscription just to access shared content or contribute to your band’s planning.

Want to Start a Band? It's Up to Them

A band member can use the platform as long as they’re part of someone else’s band — at no cost. If they decide to start managing their own band on the platform, they can then choose between a free or paid plan, depending on the features they need.

This flexible structure makes Your Music Tools ideal for collaboration, whether you're a solo artist managing everything yourself or part of a large touring crew.
